Lectures
Caroline Kleiner is a professor at Paris Cité University. She teaches private international law, law of international arbitration, international contract law, banking law and international financing. She is regularly invited to lecture in other universities and institutions, in France or abroad, where she gave lectures, for instance, on international economic sanctions (in Sciences Po, University of Verona, Austral University (Argentina); on private international law (University of Vienna, University of Doshisha (Kyoto) and Kansai University (Japan)); or on international monetary and financial law (UBA : University of Buenos Aires, Argentina).
Arbitrator
Caroline Kleiner has experience as an international arbitrator, as president of an ICC arbitral tribunal or as sole arbitrator in ad hoc proceedings, in cases involving a trading platform or international sale of goods.
In addition, she is listed in the International Arbitration Institute (IAI), in the LCIA database of arbitrators and in the French national Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce. She is a member of the Comité français de l’arbitrage (where she has been involved as scientific director in a working group on Arbitration in Banking and Financial Matters) and the Association française de l’arbitrage.
Legal Expert
Caroline Kleiner acts also as an legal expert, for judicial or arbitral proceedings, on questions related to the application of European and international financial sanctions; control of foreign investments in France; private international law issues or different aspects of Banking Law (regulatory aspects or banking operations).
